Question How do we men get the ok to start wearing skirts and hosiery as available fashion options?
Many men are trapped but want to be free to wear these items of clothing. This would add spice to their fashion.

Best Answer More than just a few guys are wondering the same thing! Double standard...Women wear whatever they want (no such thing as a "cross dressing" woman). "Just do it" is obvious but not so easy... Women had it easier (when they adopted men's pants) because women are not as "homophobic" as men! (Afraid of being seen as weaker or as a homo). This really doesn't apply since skirts are just clothes and have been worn my men longer than pants throughout time and clothes do not make one gay. Gays don't wear skirts anyway unless it is a "look at me" problem they have. Women generally think a guy in a skirt is cool (obviously he knows he is a man). A few have the homophobic problem and don't go along with it. Just be cool and wear underwear as to not give the trend a bad name! Men will have the exact same issues as women when sitting, etc. hahaha but so what! Men's fashion is clearly stuck in a rut. Nothing new and exciting for many decades. Skirts obviously make more sense for the male anatomy than for a female so guys we are the ones all screwed up! Suggestion.... Just wear a mini skirt that is a plain like the example below IN PLACE of shorts. Especially at the BEACH and no one will notice.... START A TREND and maybe one day we will ALL have same options women enjoy today. As for Tights they are already widely used by men. Just wear them with skirt or shorts and not worry. All good and another thing...they will keep you cooler than no hose if you are moving and they are exposed to air flow since they wick moisture to the surface and evaporate it giving cooling effect like a swamp cooler!!! ALSO guys NO tick bites (Lime disease)! Treat with Permetherin and no mosquito bites (no West Nile problems)! Pantyhose is SUPER practical. Women generally never figured out sizing and buying heaver quality hose so they don't break easily. They are truly High Tech!!! Funny because ALL women look more elegant and sophisticated in pantyhose in ALL situations! Nothing is cooler than a short skirt on a hot day! (pun intended). Once a guy tries on a skirt (seriously for a few hours) he will wonder why they aren't popular same as you. It's a really neat feeling not having something binding at the crotch for the first time in life!!! NOTE: A Kilt IS a SKIRT by definition so forget any differences. They are expensive, usually heavy and not necessary. Some women's skirts are perfect for guys as is with no changes! Just get them in Junior sizes so the hips are not too big. Question What do you think when you see a woman in pantyhose or sheer tights?
Im 23 and I wear tights, stockings and pantyhose with dresses and skirts. I recently wore a pair of black sheer tights with a casual black dress and got so many stares from men. What do men think when they see a woman in such clothing? Also not many women my age wear these clothing items often so what does that tell you about the women that do wear them?

Best Answer When I see women in tights or pantyhose I see women who cares about themselves. They look more sophisticated in ALL situations! There is something about the shine and smoothness that is a huge attractant to guys yet women don't seem to be aware of that generally! It just makes the legs look flawless (especially with a short skirt) so you tend to see a "perfect" woman. Just being honest as a guy.... Graduated Compression hose also gives more energy throughout the day, they also last much longer being made of heaver materials. (Athletes in perfect shape use them for up to a 10% advantage because of the increased blood circulation). There is nothing negative about wearing them other than the cost. All Austrialian teams I know of are required to use them for flights (men and women...legs are legs).
