Question What happens if someone without diabetes wears diabetes socks?
I was shopping in Albertsons and saw the Diabetes socks next to bananas when I was shopping. My feet were cold (wearing flip flops) and I thought those look comfortable. What happens if someone without Diabetes wears Diabetes socks? What do they do? P.S. I called my friend with Diabetes to ask him, I could not get a serious answer he told me I would get aids.

Best Answer If you wear diabetes socks, but you do not have diabetes a serious medical condition called sockitus will cause your feet to expand like balloons. When your feet reach a critical volume you will no longer be able to walk. Trust me.... I am a doctor.

Question What are the best heating/electric socks that anybody can recommend?
My husband's feet get cold so easily and they stay that way. I always tease him that his feet are gonna thaw out in the spring. I want to get him heating/electric socks for Christmas. I want him to be more comfortable. So I hope anybody can help me. And btw I want to buy them from a physical store- not online, since its gonna be a gift, i want it to be a surprise. He'll know if I made purchases online.

Best Answer Your husband might be having some health problems like poor circulation or heart problems, diabetes, nerve disorders and so on - there can be a long list. So check with a doc asap...as for socks that need continuous heating, it can be tiresome at times because they get cold again ever so often...so if he can wear layers - like 2 pairs of socks, he'll feel warmer I guess. If you still want those socks, just visit the physical stores and ask them ...they might also be able to help you to find out where these are available.
