Question Do men have to go through embarrassing medical appointments like girls do?
I know older men have to worry about prostate cancer and all, but what about guys my age (17)? Do they have to do a boy version of embarrassing things like a pap smear or breast exams?

Best Answer The pre-induction physical I went through during the draft days was a beauty. 300 guys from all over the state of Oregon, city-boys to cowboys all stripped down to their Y-fronts and socks. Big emphasis on being manly and nonchalant by all concerned. Then came the moment where you get into a circle about 40 at a time, backs facing the center, and drop underwear to the command 'Bend over and grab your knees!" Pretty bad, but admittedly it must have been far worse for the proctologist in the middle of the circle. Later in life, I once had a VD exam which consisted of sliding a wire up the urethra (that tiny hole at the end of a penis). The doctor, a woman, gave me a few businesslike jerks while averting her gaze to make the insertion a little easier. Thank goodness this was in Europe, and before 'Political Correctness' came along!

Question How to keep the fire alive in the dating life?
I met this wonderful man online. He is doing his graduate studies in a university 40 mins away from mine. I have spent the best weeks with him however, because the semester is almost over December is going to be a tough month until the holidays. He says "We might as well make it work." Don't worry, my boyfriend was in medical school when I met him... not much time for the two of us! :) I went 1-2 months at a time without seeing him. He would have to go to rotations at different hospitals throughout the U.S. Keeping the fire alive... I always write notes to him, then and now still. They don't have to be long, some of them just say "i love you", some say "have a great day", or "can't wait to see you" Write out 5 notes and at the bottom put 1/5 for the first one and so on. Hide them in his underwear, socks, jacket pocket, in a box of cheez its, etc. When he finds the first one he will know he has more to find. I also used to make sexy videos. He will love those if you are into doing that and you trust him with it. Send him little things in the mail, or drop them off. One night while I was talking to my bf he mentioned he really needed undershirts for under his scrubs. I sent them overnight and surprised him. It's silly, but he knew I loved him.
