Question Why does even light pressure make my hands and feet tingle?
Whenever I wear socks, my feet get numb and tingly, and when I wear rings my fingers do. It's very uncomfortable. Why does this happen? Is it poor blood circulation?

Question How can I "relax" or loosen the elastic commonly found in most affordable commercially available socks?
I have circulation problems and the elastic in most affordable commercially available socks puts too much presssure on my lower calves and ankles causing me considerable discomfort. I can't afford the special socks sold for those with circulation problems -- plus they come in such a limited selection of colors. I'm looking for a way to reduce the elastic pressure in regular socks without destroying the rest of the sock fabric.

Best Answer my boyfriend had the same problem because one leg and the other is a prosthetic. He just cuts a line about an inch down from the top and his socks have never fallen apart.
