Question Where to buy good support hose for pregnancy?
Just wondering if anyone knows. I am 24 weeks with #2. I want to try and avoid getting the spider veins in my legs that I got from my first pregnancy, so I'm wondering if support hose would help?

Best Answer dunno but if you're looking for good ones... i would think a maternity store would have the best... rather then buying generic from drug store.

Best Answer Q1: What's the condition of your leg or foot? Q2: Has a physician ever prescribed a prescription-grade support hose for you? No, I'm not talking about the one you can buy without prescription! Q3: Or, alternatively, are you following doctor's orders? There are two cases I can think of...... #1) IF YOU'RE HEALTHY, or reasonably healthy, under normal circumstances, and your leg and foot is in good condition, then no clothes should be worn in the shower, because, for example, if you wear your support hose in the shower, then you won't be able to wash your leg and foot, which partially defeats the reason for getting into the shower in the first place. Additionally, if you wear your support hose in the shower, then it will get wet, and, of course, it's not a good idea to wear wet clothes in or out of the shower. #2) IF YOU HAVE A HEALTH CONDITION: Is your leg or foot in extreme, serious, or critical condition? Or, alternatively, are you following doctor's orders? If so, then you want to wear your support hose all the time, including the time you spend in your shower. If this is the case, then, of course, you want to put on your support hose immediately after getting out of bed in the morning. Then you can shower. And then, after the shower, you can peel off your wet hose, and put on a dry one.
