Question What should i wear to Chicago's Gay Pride Parade?
I'm a 14 year old female and I'm straight, but i support every sexuality, and this is my first time going to the Gay Pride Parade and i was wondering what i should wear. I have some cute rainbow knee high socks that i could wear and some rainbow bracelets, or should i just dress plain. I saw on other posts that some people so ''all out'' and go in costumes and stuff like that. I just want to have fun like,everyone else. What should i do?

Question How do you sew socks to stockings - Costuming?
I'm making a cosplay costume from scratch and part of the costume requires me to attach some knee-high socks to a pair of normal skin-coloured stockings. I have only sewn when absolutely necessary in the past and have no idea of higher concepts other than just taking a needle and thread doing your most basic in-out stitch... thing... (I have no grasp of the technical language either sorry, haha) So I was just wondering if this type of stitch would work fine for sewing the socks to the stockings or if I needed to read a tutorial of some sort (tried researching my problem but couldn't find anything threw the multitude of Christmas stocking sewing patterns), or if I need to borrow a friend's machine / find a friend willing to do it for me. If possible though I'd like to do it myself as a learning experience as I want to get better at costuming. The socks I'm using are fairly basic, thin socks... not 100% sure on the material sorry, but your average sock. The stockings are (just reading off the packet): CLiO Italian Leg Support Pantyhose, 20 denier, medium compression, flat seams, cotten gusset. Composition: Nylon / Elastane / Cotton Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you! *through... sorry Just to clarify - I'm sewing them together as I'll be cutting the socks to a certain odd shape which will compromise their elasticity and therefore their ability to stay up without crumpling. So I decided sewing them to some stockings would be the best way to help them retain their shape.
